Home is where your story begins. Home is your space for peaceful retreat. Home is the spot where memories are made, where food is shared, where friends gather and life happens. Home is your basecamp, where you prepare for your next adventure—whether that takes you around the world or around the block.
Raleigh is my home. Chances are, you already know why the Research Triangle area of central North Carolina is a fantastic place to call home.
Buying a Home
As your trusted advisor in the home buying process, my job is to listen to your needs, your goals, your dreams, the demands of your lifestyle, and to connect you with the best resources to make your vision of home a reality. One of the great things about the Triangle is the diversity of our communities—from large tracts of open space with pastoral settings in Johnston County to walkable nightlife in the urban centers of Raleigh and Durham, to proximity to neighborhood schools and shopping in Apex and Cary. Whatever your particular needs are, that’s what I’ll be focused on. Finding you the home of your dreams.
In the home buying process, finding that perfect house is just the beginning. With the support and backing of the Allen Tate family, I will be your advocate along the way so that once we find that perfect house, you are able to get to the closing table and make that house your home.
Selling a House
My background in marketing, communication and photography will all be leveraged to present your house in the best light. As a Carolina native, I know what makes our area great. I will make sure every potential buyer understands the full value of your property, whether they are moving from Durham to Raleigh to cut out a commute, or from another state or another country to enjoy our vibrant community.
My hometown is a coastal community in South Carolina, though I’ve spent nearly three decades living in North Carolina from the Outer Banks to the mountains and half of the small towns in between. I am a graduate of Appalachian State University and Campbell University. I live in downtown Raleigh with my wife, Kristen, who teaches in Wake County Public Schools, and our two young children. In my free time I enjoy reading—especially contemporary southern writers—hiking at Umstead Park, riding my bike on the Neuse River Greenway, hanging out at local coffee shops and playing with my kids at Pullen Park.
I would love to learn more about you, and how I can help you get into your next home. Please call, text or email any time.
