Welcome and thank you for visiting my website. My husband and I moved our young family to Davidson thirteen years ago from North Florida. Like many people in the area, we moved here for my husband’s work in Charlotte. Like you, we were looking for a home in an area that we knew NOTHING about. We spent many weekends driving through the Charlotte and Lake Norman regions looking for the place and space that spoke to us and our family’s needs. We would drive into a town, get out of the car, walk the streets, eat a meal, talk to the locals, and try to tap into the ‘vibe’ of the area. It soon became abundantly clear that there were many wonderful towns and opportunities for our family. Having a realtor was KEY in helping us sift through piles of data, in helping to give us a deeper understanding of a community and the neighborhoods housed within, and what the locals liked and didn’t like in the area. Our highest priority at the time was getting into a community with good school choices. Davidson fit that bill at the time, but over the years we discovered that there was so much more to love when living in the Charlotte and Lake Norman areas: having four seasons, the ease of access to cultural venues, the vibrancy of a big city, the beautiful setting of Lake Norman, and the quaintness of the small towns and sense of community.
The towns of Davidson, Cornelius, Huntersville, and Mooresville are actually “Lake Norman towns” with ‘Lake Norman’ being both a large lake and a region that encompasses many small towns that border the shores of Duke Energy’s manmade lake. With long Spring and Fall seasons, the area boasts extended outdoor seasonal activities and something for everyone. There are amazing Greenway systems for walking, running and biking, civic arenas, professional and collegiate sports for every type of fan, lake sporting and recreational opportunities, outdoor movie and concert series, farmers markets, community gardens, superb dining options, and excellent school choices. Davidson’s two sister towns of Cornelius and Huntersville are some of the fastest growing towns in our area that provide wonderful housing and education opportunities as well. No matter where you decide to make your home, I am here to help guide you on your journey and educate you on the areas so that you can make informed decisions that are best for you and your family.
