About Me
Madeline Baucum comes to the Charlotte area from San Francisco where she worked as a patient advocate and case manager for a biopharmaceutical company.
There she helped patients navigate through the complicated process of understanding drug coverage, treatment, and medical insurance, while guiding them to copay assistance programs in the event they couldn’t afford their medicine.
Before that, Madeline worked as a strategy and communications consultant for political campaigns in her home state of Louisiana. Her love of helping people combined with her enthusiasm for finding creative solutions is why Madeline became a Realtor.
In her spare time you will find her exploring everything Charlotte has to offer from hiking trails to breweries, cooking Cajun food, and listening to True Crime Podcasts.

The team of Jean Benham and Madeline Baucum came extremely highly recommended, so my wife and I had very high expectations. Well those lofty expectations were exceeded, which we didn't think was possible. The home buying process is never easy or straightforward, and we were very particular as to what we were looking for. Our Allen Tate team helped us over a slew of obstacles and possible bumps in the road, seemingly having an answer or a contact for literally any issue that would arise. One thing that upset me about my last realtor experience at a different real estate firm was I always felt like I was bothering my agent to go look at properties, as if I was annoying her to have her show me some properties. With this team they were always encouraging me to use them as much as I wanted, and they were even suggesting times and new listings for us to go see. It really felt like they wanted us to find exactly what we wanted, and not to just place us in a home in which we were just "okay" on. My wife and I couldn't be more satisfied, we will never use another team as long as we are purchasing real estate!

Madeline was absolutely perfect to work with and exactly what we needed, when looking for and eventually finding our future home. One thing we loved about working with Madeline was her immediate availability and flexibility to show us houses the moment they popped on the market. If you are looking in Charlotte or another big metro, you understand the importance of moving quickly and seeing things the day they pop on the market, Madeline gets this and often we were the first people to see a house once it was on the market. She is one of those realtors who truly enjoys seeing properties, which makes the whole process so much more enjoyable. Another awesome thing we loved about working with Madeline that we found unique to some of our past realtor experiences, was her lack of pressure as well as her complete honesty about the properties we were viewing. I literally not once ever felt like she was pressuring my wife and I, and when she had concerns about a place, or the price, or the seller, she let us know, but in a polite way. It really felt like she wasn't just trying to sell us any old house, but she was trying to find us the perfect home. She was an absolute joy to work with and her great attitude and fun personality made the entire experience fun and much less stressful than this process usually is.
